Choose the peer-reviewed journal or the moderated preprint repository. Four steps: details, authors, files, review. Your submission is stored first, then the editorial team is notified — nothing is ever lost to an email failure.
Files are type- and size-checked and virus-scanned on upload. Journal manuscripts must be anonymised — the desk-check rejects PDFs containing author-identifying information.

What happens next: your submission is recorded immediately, the editorial team is notified, and you receive a confirmation email with a tracking ID. Journal articles go to an editor desk-check, then double-blind review by two referees. Preprints appear after moderation, usually within 48 hours.
